Closing in...

...on completion of the HackMaster Players Handbook. :)

Via the HackMaster Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/106811059375011/

This would be a great time to order the book. :) Why look, another link has appeared... http://www.kenzerco.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_94&products_id=779

(That's where you can buy it.)

(Am I too obvious?)

(Meh. It's my blog.)

I'm tempted, but the price is pretty steep! I bought the HoB and I was a little underwhelmed by the leather hardcover. The writing was good, but I wanted a few more monsters (like dragons). On the other hand, I enjoyed Hackmaster Basic and I recently bought the Wrath of the Vohven pdf.

I'm still trying to decide between WFRP 3rd and Hackmaster. WFRP is just so expensive to keep up with and I really like the adventures and background that comes with Hackmaster.

I just wish the HM PHB was around the $30-40 range. I'll probably end up buying it anyway. (Sigh)

I'm looking forward to dragons, too! They are supposed to show up in the next HoB.

I feel like its a good time to jump on it with the book and PDF bundled together. We did the same thing with the HoB and weren't disappointed. I usually use PDFs on my iPad at the table so it was a good deal for me.

The PHB is a beautiful book, especially the spell sections for clerics and magic users. I'm really impressed so far.

I'm saving up. Our family is under a bit of a crunch, but it's a definite buy as soon as the new budget comes in. Thanks for keeping us posted!

I do like the pdf's. I can read them on the laptop while the wife watches Househunters. Also easier to read during breaks at work. :)

There's going to be another HoB? Maybe I can get it in pdf only. Fingers crossed.
